For all the care, service and friendship she has shown us and helping us as our interpreter to: obtain our Residente and INAPAM cards, establish our water, electricity and internet accounts, set up our property tax account, arrange with a contractor to do work on our home, provide invaluable information about San Miguel, and on one occasion assisted us tremendously to get my wife to Querétaro and on a plane, home to Seattle, to handle a family emergency, all in less than three hours. The REXBASH 90th birthday celebration was a great success and I truly enjoyed working with her!
To celebrate my ninetieth birthday in San Miguel de Allende, I planned to pull out all the stops and invite my friends to an unforgettable three-day celebration I named the REXBASH, go people from the USA and all over the globe attended. I engage the service of Margo to act as my advisor, my general factotum, and provider of all the many nitty-gritty items that make up a typical San Miguel celebration from the ribbons for the name tags to the custom-made heads for the Mojigangas to the flower-bedecked donkey in the Callejoneada to the flower crowns for the lady guests. Margo arranged all the meals and functions in cute, atmospheric spots close to our meeting hotel, opened up the sort of private Galleria Atotonilco, etc. and by having direct contact with the many diverse suppliers she substantially brought costs down. The REXBASH was a great success and I truly enjoyed working with her.
